Turn noise into signals. IntentFlare uses a hybrid AI scoring engine to find the conversations that actually matter for your business.
What It Does
Every thread discovered across your monitored platforms is scored 0-100 on purchase intent. Instead of manually reading hundreds of posts, you only see the ones where people are actively looking for solutions.
How It Works
- Fast Pre-Filter — Rule-based engine scans for pain signals ("struggling with", "need help", "recommend me"), competitor mentions ("alternative to", "switching from"), and buying intent ("where to buy", "pricing", "free trial")
- AI Deep Scoring — Threads that pass the pre-filter are scored by AI on 4 dimensions:
- Is the user actively looking for a solution?
- Does the problem match your product?
- How urgent is the need?
- Is this a buying decision or just browsing?
- Lead Classification — Each thread is tagged with a lead type:
- Recommendation Request — "What tool do you recommend for..."
- Competitor Switch — "Looking for an alternative to..."
- Pain/Problem — "I'm struggling with..."
- Buyer Intent — "Where can I buy...", "pricing for..."
- Exploring — Early-stage research
- General — Loosely related discussion
How to Try It
- Go to Dashboard → click Run Pipeline
- Wait for the pipeline to complete (takes ~30 seconds)
- Check the Threads page — threads are now scored and classified
- Use the Min Score slider to filter (we recommend starting at 70+ for high-intent leads)
- Lead type badges appear next to each thread — use these to prioritize outreach
Score Guide
| Score | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 70-100 | Green | High intent — prioritize these |
| 50-69 | Yellow | Moderate intent — worth reviewing |
| 0-49 | Gray | Low intent — skip unless relevant |
Why This Matters
Keyword alerts cannot tell the difference between "I love Notion" (not a lead) and "I need a Notion alternative that's simpler" (hot lead). Intent scoring can, so you read a handful of threads worth replying to instead of a hundred that mention your keyword.
Tools in this space range from free keyword alerts (F5Bot) through forum-focused monitoring (Syften) to AI-scored multi-platform tools (Buska). Compare on platform coverage, scoring quality, and whether the tool tracks what actually converted.
