How to Set Up Monitors
- Go to Dashboard → Projects → select your project
- Scroll to the Monitors section
- Add monitors per platform:
- Reddit: Enter subreddit names (comma-separated, e.g.,
SaaS, startups, smallbusiness) - Twitter/X: Enter search queries (e.g.,
"project management tool") - Instagram: Enter account handles to watch (e.g.,
@competitor) - LinkedIn: Enter search queries (e.g.,
"hiring CRM software") - Hacker News: Enter search queries (e.g.,
"best database for startups") - Bluesky: Enter keywords (e.g.,
"looking for app")
- Reddit: Enter subreddit names (comma-separated, e.g.,
- Click Add for each platform
- Run the pipeline — threads from all platforms will appear in your dashboard
Reddit Subreddit Suggestions
Not sure which subreddits to monitor? Click Find Subreddits on your project page. IntentFlare uses your project keywords to suggest relevant subreddits with subscriber counts.
Platform Badges
Each thread in your dashboard shows a platform badge so you can instantly see where the conversation is happening:
- Reddit (orange)
- Twitter/X (dark)
- Instagram (pink)
- LinkedIn (blue)
- Hacker News (orange)
- Bluesky (sky blue)
Tips
- Start with 2-3 monitors per platform to avoid noise
- Use specific search queries rather than broad keywords
- Hacker News and Bluesky are free — great for testing without API costs
- The pipeline runs every 15 minutes automatically, so new conversations are picked up fast
